Son Na-eun (Korean: 손나은, born February 10, 1994) is a South Korean idol singer, dancer and actress. She is the sub-vocalist, dancer and visual of South Korean girl group A Pink under A Cube Entertainment.
Son sang Wonder Girls‘s “Sorry Heart” during her audition, and was the first trainee to be revealed. She was featured inBeast‘s “Soom”, “Beautiful” and “I Like You The Best” music videos in late 2010. Because of this, she was called the “Beast’s Girl”.
Son Na-eun debut with Apink on April 21, 2011 with “Mollayo”. A Pink had released their first studio album Une Année at the beginning of May 2012, and she revealed in an interview that she suffered from a ligament injury just before their comeback. It was the same area where the singer was hurt right before A Pink’s debut. With the comeback only two weeks away, they had to push back the comeback by a further two weeks.
Son debuted as a TV actress in historical drama The Great Seer after a small role in Salamander Guru and The Shadows. Lotte Entertainment also confirmed Son in the final cast for the film Marrying the Mafia 5: Return of The Family, with Yoon Doo-joon and ZE:A‘s Kwang-hee. She then starred in jTBC‘s drama Childless Comfort, which aired from October 2012, as Oh Soo-mi.
We Got Married
In April 2013, A Cube Entertainment confirmed Son would join the MBC series We Got Married with SHINee’s Taemin forming ‘Taeun‘ couple. They replaced the previous idol couple, ZE:A‘s Hwang Kwanghee and Secret‘s Sunhwa. They filmed their first encounter together at Jeju Island in “Café Seoyeon’s House” from the movie Architecture 101. They ended their virtual marriage at early January 2014.
